Our Story
In 2010, Dotson Memorial, Fairview United Methodist, and First Baptist Alcoa worked together to begin a Luke 14 ministry in Blount County and hosted our first fall event that year.
A lot has changed since then, and we have grown!
In 2022, we introduced the first Luke 14 Round Up and in 2023 we hosted our first pool party!
May of 2024, we became an official non-profit, 501c3 private foundation!
Currently, we partner with 5 churches in our community:
East Maryville Baptist Church
Fairview Church
Four Mile Baptist Church
Tuckaleechee Chapel Missionary Baptist Church
RIO Revolution
These churches support us financially, prayerfully, and enthusiastically as volunteers at our events!
God is blessing our ministry, and we are excited to work towards offering more opportunities to serve our friends in the community who are disabled and their families/caregivers.
